MKM Health welcomes new team members

We are creating a team that is committed to making a difference to the healthcare industry.

It’s been a very busy few months at MKM Health, and we are delighted to welcome John Reynolds, Ra Paku and Peter Behan to our team. All are very experienced in the health IT industry and are already working on a number of projects.

John Reynolds has worked in healthcare for over 20 years, most recently as a System Integration Specialist. Initially as a Medical Scientist in major metropolitan hospitals in both Victoria and Tasmania in Transfusion Medicine and Microbiology, John gained extensive domain knowledge of diagnostic pathology as well as the broader healthcare environment. Since moving into health IT, John has worked with both IT vendors and consultancies. He has extended his experience to include system integration (specifically HL7 integration), implementation and support of healthcare systems.

A delivery-focused Senior Project Manager, Ra Paku has over ten years IT experience, eight of which have been in the Health industry. She has a passion for understanding and working with clients, clinical users, IT groups and vendors to deliver solutions that improve health outcomes, as well as meeting business objectives while minimising the impact to existing working environments. Ra has a solid understanding of project management and sound execution in a variety of project methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile, LEAN), managing end-to-end teams as well as analysis and design techniques.

Peter Behan also has over 20 years of health integration experience in both public and private sectors, spanning Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland. Having worked for both the vendor and healthcare providers, Peter has held a number of varied integration and development roles across a number of different service settings. Prior to joining MKM Health, other recent roles include Head of Integration and Architecture at CSC and iSOFT, where he led a number of key initiatives in eHealth as well as driving the integration architecture for all healthcare products.

These recent appointments support MKM Health’s mission - improving the use of technology in healthcare to achieve better patient outcomes, through building an organisation that empowers a great team committed to making a difference.

Welcome on board!
